Tile should only be installed over a sound surface, wet area's should be waterproofed and floors should have the required thickness of plywood relevant to the joist span before tiling. Never tile on top of particle board. We recommend Standard Spruce or Fir Plywood. It is important to apply enough mortar / adhesive to the surface being tiled to avoid any problems with loose tiles in the future. 

To assist in maintaining the beauty of your ceramic tile in wet area's we recommend drying the area after each shower. This will help to prevent soap & chemical buildup.
